Preguntas Hermosas by Süperfad / David Viau

View on Vimeo ]

Director David Viau Notes:

"There was a tremendous amount of 2d effects and compositing in 'Preguntas Hermosas' that contributed to the magical and stylized realism of the environments. Trapcode products definitely played a key role in the production and were a go-to resource. From the woman breaking apart into butterflies to minute details of atmospheric enhancement, the Trapcode Suite was intrical to bringing drama to the love story."

Beautiful work. I am dismayed though to see so many that think, with due respect, that you can just "follow a tutorial" and create this with no experience; these are some of the best works using TP let alone the complexity of AE; things that take months, years to learn. Folks, sheesh, buy a book, learn how to play with layers and solids and so on.

There are no shortcuts to excellence.

Hello Chinelo,

Protip: you might want to stay off CAPS-LOCK as most people will assume you are an idiot and not read your comment.

To answer your question: no, the Trapcode Suite was not the only software used, it was used in some scenes for some effects (for example the butterflies).
