Abstract Cubism

Playing around with random effectors and fracture objects in Cinema 4D. I'm totally inspired! Thinking about doing a longer edited piece with music.

Any links to how you did this? looks pretty simple but I'd love to see some other stuff like it!

Sorry, I'm a newbie at Cinema 4D, I cannot really explain (or remember) the steps :-) I was basically goofing around until I got something I liked. Then I created a Target Camera and animated the position of it until I found a camera move that I liked. The render was pretty much black and white so I decided to color it in AE.

If this is a Trapcode forum (my favorite family of AE plugins!) why are we seeing so much Cinema 4D stuff ;-)

Hi Tom!

That is a valid question. The reason is simple; I'm learning Cinema 4D! Over the years I've seen so many of my customers create awesome stuff with Cinema 4D + AE/Trapcode I thought I had look into it.

I may end up making some plug-ins for it. If you have any requests for stuff you think could be made for Cinema 4D as a plug-in / module you are most welcome to post them here. I have some ideas already :-)

I am also investigating the existing integration of Cinema 4D / AE / Trapcode plugs.

Great to see you're working with C4D, Peder! Have you tried out Per-Anders Clone_Info_Hierarchy setup? It's an neat way to integrate Mograph clones into After Effects and Particular.
