That depends on the plug-in versions. If they are really old they might be PowerPC only. You can get info on the plug files and see if they are "Universal Binary".
I kind of doubt they are that old though - could also be an installer folder problem.

The plugs are from 2006. Is that really old? The info window does not say "Universal Binary". They were on a PowerPC that died. Are they upgradeable?

My new MAC is running OS 10.6 and I'm using CS3. I can't see most of the Trapcode plugins (3D Stroke, Lux, Shine, Soundkeys, Particular). I can see and use Starglow. Do I need to upgrade?
