Hello, rotating the emitter doesn't rotate the world (it indeed looks that way when scrubbing, but that's only because there are no keyframes). To rotate the world you can parent a camera to a null and rotate the null on it's x-axis.
In Trapcode Particular v2 there is a new section for world transforms that allows rotating the world.

Can I upgrade to V2 if I've got AE 7 and a Power PC G5?
Jason Nabb
I cannot say for 100% but I sure hope they all work with PowerPC's too.
There are trial version available at RG, so you could try before you buy. Perhaps save a backup of the old plug-in before installing just to be on the safe side.

Hi, I am trying to keyframe a rotation on the x axis of a static starfield. For some reason, you can scrub the rotate, (with no keyframes in the x axis) but as soon as you add two keyframes, the motion disappears.
What's up? Any ideas?
Thanks!
