
Smoke
A pretty simple project that shows how to make fine-detailed smoke using custom particles.
The particles are emitted from the bottom of the screen using a low velocity, this makes them spread apart. The upwards motion is due to Physics>Air>Wind Y. The Physics>Air>Turbulence Field is used for the fluid dynamics-like motion. By setting the Turbulence Field>Move with Wind to 90%, the turbulence will move upwards with the wind.
The particle type is custom and uses the "flame" pre-comp which is a seamless loop of Fractal Noise. The particles increase in size over life and at the very end of its life, opacity is faded out so it dissapears nicely.
